Mehrosh Pervaiz obtained her bachelor's degree in bioinformatics from COMSATS Institute of IT, Islamabad. She obtained her master's degree in bioinformatics from the University of Amsterdam. For her master theses, she studied the nuclear transport of beta-catenin (CNRS, Montpellier) and designed a software for homology modelling of multimeric protein complexes (CMBI, Nijmegen). She has also studied protein-ligand interactions during her time as a research assistant at the CMBI.
Her PhD research deals with the application of various computational methods for fragment-based ligand design.
