Pascal Kirchner obtained his Bachelor's degree in chemistry from the universities of Freiburg and Mulhouse, with a Bachelor's thesis in organic chemistry on the reactivity of Agrocybe Aegerita peroxygenase. He obtained his Master's degree in chemistry from the University of Freiburg with a Master's thesis on the analysis of EPR spectra.
The focus of his doctoral studies is pharmacophore modeling and de novo ligand design..
